i haven't posted this week because it's been wedding/family week 2007. my brother, justin, and my delightful friend, caroline may got married on 07.07.07 and it's been a whirlwind week. i thought i'd post pictures of the insanely good cake natasha made for the bride and groom. it was chocolate with blueberries in the middle. so incredible. everyone was loving it.

I LOVE that cake. It is perfect. Simple. I love the white flowers.

rach, gardenias are my favorite! i love how simple they are and the have sentimental value for me as well.
blueberries and chocolate. . . I would not have put them together, but it looks and sounds delish. stay awesome.
after seeing that cake, I now understand why people want to get married.
I have several friends that aspire to be wed purely for the cake aspect.
Personally, I think it is a shame to waste fidelity on pastry alone. But we all know I could never commit to just one cake. Which is why you will all likely be getting mini-cupcakes one day. That way you can try ALL of them and still feel good enough for dancing later.
